Borrowed & Blue

Happy Friday!

I am so beyond happy that today is Friday! Lately I feel like each week gets a little rougher because work has just been kickin’ my butt all over the place. I feel a little neglectful of the blog lately because I’ve been so stressed and exhausted, so I apologize if it takes me a while to respond to comments and emails. I really appreciate of all my lovely readers, and will do my best to keep up with everything 🙂

Anyhow, continuing with my month of blues for Autism Awareness, today I have for you one of the new lovelies from Essie’s Wedding Collection: Borrowed & Blue

I picked this baby up at Ulta last weekend because I had a couple of coupons and decided I needed some polish therapy 🙂

There are 3 other colors in the collection, but this was the only one that I felt I really needed.

On a side note: I’m pretty impressed that Essie seems to have been coming out with at least one standout blue or green shade in the recent collections. They’re usually all pinks and reds, so it’s nice that they’re changing it up a bit.

Anyway, Borrowed & Blue is a really pretty soft, sky blue. I’m all over colors like this! I just think they’re so pretty, and they contrast well with my skin tone.

The application on this was pretty good, which I was a little surprised about because I don’t always have the best luck with Essie’s. It covered well in 2 coats, and I loved it so much when I swatched it that I ended up wearing it as a full mani. Peep the pics:
