Happy Sunday Peeps!
I hope everyone has had a great weekend!
Mine has gone by much too fast, but I totally didn’t mind that this week. For once, I have actually been looking forward to Sunday night because season 4 of True Blood premieres tonight! I’m so, so,so excited!
For 12 lovely weeks, instead of dreading Sunday night with its impending Monday morning, I will look forward to it with excitement and anticipation 🙂

In honor of tonight’s premiere I decided to do a True Blood-inspired mani. I was originally gonna do something simple with Red and White Shatter, but when I saw this awesome splatter mani tutorial by Jen from The PolishAholic, I knew I had to do some blood splatter nails. I mean, how awesomely fitting right?
I used FingerPaints Don’t Make A Scene for my base color, and I did my “blood splatter” with Zoya Sooki (I couldn’t resist 🙂 ).
It was insanely easy to do and I’m super happy with how it came out. It’s one of my favorite manis ever. I have to warn you that there are quite a few pics because I loved it so much that I couldn’t pick just a couple to use. Check it out:

Doesn’t it remind you of this super hot cover that the main characters did for Rolling Stone?

Yum! I would totally be a fangbanger for all of that Eric Northman-Nordic-vampire-hotness! 🙂

So what do you lovelies think of this? Isn’t it so cool?!
I love how each nail ends up with a different pattern.
I got a lot of compliments on it at work yesterday and everyone was asking me how I did it. Like I said, it was insanely easy to do thanks to Jen’s awesome tutorial, so you should definitely check it out if you wanna recreate the look.
I’m looking forward to trying it with some other colors soon.
Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely Sunday, and for all of you True Blood fans, enjoy the show tonight!

Thank you so much! I love how yours came out too 🙂
I love this so much! You did an amazing job!
Thanks! 🙂
That’s gorgeous, Jasmine! I love the base colour! 🙂
Definitely going to try Jen’s blood splatter mani once I’m done with this hectic week! ^^
Thanks hon 🙂 I can’t wait to see what yours ends up looking like.
Love it! I also did a True Blood inspired mani with Sooki as the base. How could you not use that one! I actually had the same idea as your mani but I’m saving it for the season premiere of Dexter whenever that may be; he is a blood spatter expert after all. 😉
Thanks 🙂 That’s a good idea to use it for Dexter! I’ve seen a couple other people mention that too. I love that show also so I’ll have to come up with something for that too!
Im a huge fan of the base colour you chose for this manicure. You’re right, it sure looks like that steamy-cover! :). I don’t watch this show… Yet… But I’ve heard a lot of people speak of it…
Thanks! You totally need to get on the True Blood bandwagon! It’s an awesome show. You’d love it 🙂
Gory never looked so damn hot!!
Hahaha, I know right?!
WoW!
He was especially beautiful.
Closely resembles the cover of Rolling Stone
That’s so cute!
I also like True Blood and I’m looking forward to the new season!

Thanks! Yay for True Blood and hot vampires! 🙂
Oh, this came out AWESOME lady! I love it so much. I wanted to try one with a black base for the premiere tonight but I didn’t have time, so I just did some red and black crackle. I’m super excited!
Thanks sweetie 🙂 I love how your red and black crackle mani came out. It still did the trick!
That looks great! I think I just might have to start watching that show now!
Thank you! Yes, you definitely need to start watching the show! It’s awesome 🙂
