Dr.s’ Remedy Hot Hot Hot Summer

Happy Friday Peeps!

I’m so excited it’s finally Friday, especially since I have this weekend off! Yay!

Anyhow, I’m way late on these…especially considering summer is almost over and fall collections are already out, oops?…but I have Dr.s’ Remedy’s summer collection for you today.

If you’re not familiar with Dr.s’ Remedy, it’s a line of polish made with all kinds of cool vitamins and extracts in it that are supposed to be really good for your nails. It’s like having a nail treatment and a nail polish all in one.

I have to say that I’m kind of impressed with this summer collection because it looks like they’re really trying to venture out and come up with more appealing shades for their line. Anyway, let’s get to the goods. I used 2 coats with no top coat for all of the pics below.

First up is Lovely Lavender. This is actually my favorite one of the bunch. It’s not a unique color, but it’s beautiful all the same. Plus the formula is really creamy and applied like a dream. I even wore it as a full mani after I was done swatching.

Glee Gold. Okay, this is a really pretty gold shimmer, but I hate the way it looks on me. It’s just too close to my skin tone, so it kind of gives me shimmery mannequin hands. Blech. It would be pretty on a different skin tone, but it’s just not my cup of tea.

.

Tranquil Tangerine. This baby rocks! It’s an amazing bright orange with subtle shimmer. Bright and beautiful with a lovely application. Love it.

.

Bold Baby Blue. This one is also a beauty. I wouldn’t exactly call it bold though. It’s a cool blue shimmer that also had a lovely formula and went on smooth and easy.

And lastly we have Nurture Nude Pink. Love this color. I didn’t think it was possible for me to like a nude so much. Again, great formula, and the hint of pink shimmer running through it adds a special little touch.

What say you about this collection?

You can find these at http://www.remedynails.com for $17 each.

I’m not too keen on the price, but it may be worth it for those that are specifically looking for nurturing ingredients in their polish.

Anyway, have a great weekend loves!
