NOTD w/Glitter Gal Marine Blue

Happy Wednesday Peeps!

Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days. I thankfully started a new job on Monday, but my schedule for this week is totally off because of it.

Also, I broke a nail on Sunday and had to file all of the others down to little nubbins, so I probably won’t have any new pics until they grow back to a length that I’m more comfortable with (I haaate how short they are right now 😦 ).

Anyway, today I have a mani that I actually meant to post on Sunday…

I did a mani to support my favorite football team, the Indianapolis Colts, using the awesomesauce Glitter Gal holos: Marine Blue and Light as a Feather. The Colts are sucking so far this season, so I figured my nails should be pretty on game day to make me feel better about that 😉 In the pics below I used 2 coats of Marine Blue on all but my ring finger, on which I used 3 coats of Light as a Feather. Peep it:

.Isn’t Marine Blue freakin’ gorgeous?! Light as a Feather is too, but I already gushed about it here. Lovelovelove Glitter Gal holos. (These, like all of my other Glitter Gals were purchased from their US stockist Llarowe for $14.)

So what do you think of this mani? Do any of you paint your nails to support your favorite sports team?

That’s all for today my loves! Please bear with me through my little hiatus that I’ll be going on for the next week or so until my nails grow back, and don’t forget to enter my Merry Midnight/Fowl Play Giveaway if you haven’t already!

And even though I cheated and didn’t do a pink mani this Wednesday, don’t forge to pop on over to http://onwednesdayswewearpink.com and check out the lovelies who did! 🙂

Pink Wednesday: Glitter Gal Fuchsia 3D Holo

Happy Pink Wednesday Loves!

It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve participated in Pink Wednesday, so I decided to jump back on the train today.

I have another Glitter Gal holo for you today. Are you getting sick of these yet? 🙂

Fuchsia 3D Holo is another beauty that I got the chance to review from the lovely Leah Anne at Llarowe, and as with all the other Glitter Gal holos I own, I’m in love. It’s a beautiful pale fuchsia with a linear holo effect.

In the pics below I used 3 coats. Once again, amazing formula, easy application, and excellent color payoff. Peep it:

That’s all for this lovely Pink Wednesday!

Are you rockin’ pink on your tips today too? Let us know by tweeting a link or a pic to @PinkWednesday. And as always, check out the other lovely pink manis today at http://onwednesdayswewearpink.com 🙂

Glitter Gal Silver 3D Holo

Happy Tuesday Peeps!

I’m feeling kind of blah today because I’m still mad about the fact that I had to work yesterday-on a national holiday! I know I’m not the only one that had to, but I’m still being a brat about it. I’ll get over it soon though 🙂

Anyway, as you can tell by now, I’m obsessed with Glitter Gal holos. Even more so since I can get my greedy hands on them so easily from Llarowe. Today I have another one for you: Silver 3D Holo.

I’m not usually a huge fan of silver holos for some reason, but I can’t deny that I totally drooled once I got this baby on. It’s freakin gorgeous. I think I might even like it more than GOSH Holographic and Nfu Oh 61 because of the fact that the application is so smooth and easy (even without using a special base coat).

In the pics below I used 3 coats for full opacity, but be sure to keep scrolling past the first couple of pics to see why I really love this baby.

Ok, amazing silver holo right? But wait…there’s more! 🙂

In the pic below I did a random skittle mani with Wet ‘n Wild Red Red, Zoya Paz, FingerPaints To-teally Chic, and Sinful Colors Amethyst

.

.

Then I applied a thin layer of Silver 3D Holo, and check out the amazingness that happened:

Awesome right?! What you see above is the real reason why I love this silver holo so much. You can basically paint it over any color and transform it into an amazing holo. Loooove it!

You need to get your hands on this now ok? Ok 🙂

Glitter Gal Black 3D Holo

Happy Thursday Peeps!

Can you believe it’s September already?!

Today I have another amazing polish from Glitter Gal for you: Black 3D Holo

I think it’s safe to say that I’m officially obsessed with the Glitter Gal holos. I look at them and think “where have you been all my life?” 😉 For so long I was obsessed with obtaining all the China Glaze OMGs on my wish list, and all the while, these lovelies were waiting in the wings.

Anyway, Black Holo (which I wish had a cooler name) is absolutely amazing. It looks very similar to Lizard Belly, but when you have them side-by-side you can tell that this is definitely black, while Lizard Belly is definitely dark green.

As with the other other Glitter Gal holos, I’m just gonna go ahead and let the pics speak for themselves because I really can’t put into words how gorgeous they are. Peep them:

This pic is less about the polish on my nails, and more about the polish in the bottle. Look how amazing it looks in the bottle! *drools*

.

.

Gah! Just so amazing! I can’t even….

As with the other Glitter Gal’s I’ve shown you, I purchased this beauty from their lovely US Stockist, Llarowe, for $14. I think it’s the best price that you can find them for, plus shipping is really cheap and fast. I know I mention that every time, but it’s because I’m always amazed by excellent customer service and I think it deserves to be recognized.

Anyway, are you lovin’ this black holo? Go ahead and wipe up your drool then let me know what you think 😉

Glitter Gal Light As A Feather

Light As a Feather, Stiff As a Board
Light As a Feather, Stiff As a Board…

Happy Sunday Peeps!

Today I have another lovely holo from Glitter Gal for you: Light As a Feather

The name of this beauty immediately made me think of the slumber party levitation”game” that I think many of us played when we were younger. It was a staple at the slumber parties I went to, along with telling ghost stories or chanting “Bloody Mary”. It always creeped the heck out of me to think it might work, but that was the best part 🙂

Anyhow, this baby is far from creepy- it’s a gorgeous soft white/grey-tinged linear holo.

I love it because I don’t think I’ve ever seen a white holo before. Silver, yes, but not white. The holo effect is kind of subtle, but it’s beautiful none the less.

The formula was smooth and easy to work with, but it is pretty sheer, so I used 3 coats to build it up. Check out the loveliness:

So what do you think of this beauty? The holo effect is not as strong as it is in other Glitter Gal holos, such as Lizard Belly, but I still think it’s an insanely gorgeous polish.

I purchased this baby from Glitter Gal’s US stockist Llarowe for $14. And as I mentioned before, they have amazing customer service and the owner Leah Ann is super nice.

Anyway, that’s all for today loves! Enjoy the rest of your weekend 🙂

Glitter Gal Lizard Belly

Happy Friday Loves!

I’ve had a pretty rough week, so I’m so happy that it’s finally Friday!

Today I have the insanely gorgeous holo that is Glitter Gal Lizard Belly.

I have no words for how beautiful this lovely is. It’s a dark green linear holo and it is just a whole bunch of awesomeness. I did my best to photograph it, but you really need to see it in person to appreciate it the most. Anyway, I’ll let the pics speak for themselves…

In the pics below I used 2 coats. It’s super pigmented and went on like buttah. Peep it:

Gah! Isn’t it amazing?! It’s just so much holo goodness!

Somewhere in the back of my mind I was telling myself that I was kind of over holos (I know, I know, blasphemous), but this little beauty has convinced me that I’m so not.

The only thing I can complain about is that I wish the bottles were bigger (they’re 0.3oz) so I could own more of this amazing polish…though buying a backup will fix that 🙂

I bought it online from Llarowe, Glitter Gal’s USA Stockist, for $14. Their customer service is absolutely amazing! I only paid a little over $1 for shipping, and I got my order in 2 days flat. Plus, they ship worldwide! So if you wanna get your hot little hands on this, I definitely recommend purchasing it from them.

So what do you think of this lovely? Ae you drooling over it as much as I am?

Have a wonderful weekend peeps! 🙂
