Dollish Polish: I Wanna Do Bad Things To You

Happy Sunday Loves!

I hope you’ve all had a good weekend! I don’t even mind that the weekend is almost over because season 5 of True Blood premieres tonight! I’m so excited that my Sunday nights will be that much more exciting for the next 12 weeks ๐Ÿ™‚

To celebrate the premiere, I decided to show you a lovely from Dollish Polish called I Wanna Do Bad Things To You. For any of you that aren’t Truebies, it’s named after the show’s theme song (the actual lyrics are “I wanna do bad things with you” but it’s close enough ๐Ÿ™‚ ).

I Wanna Do Bad Things To You is packed full of cherry-red glitter, with some holographic glitter sprinkled throughout. I’m not really one for red polishes, but I had to have this baby for its name alone!

This lovely can be opaque on its own, but I only have a small bottle so I decided to layer it. And what better polish to layer it over than Zoya Sooki?!

In the pics below I have 2 coats of I Wanna Do Bad Things To You layered over 1 coat of Sooki. Peep it:

And for your viewing pleasure, here are a couple of True Blood hotties that I wanna do bad things to ๐Ÿ˜‰

That’s all for today my loves!

Are any of you sporting some True Blood manis today? I’d love to see them if you are so feel free to leave a link in the comments.

Enjoy the rest of your weekends, and happy watching tonight to all my fellow Truebies ๐Ÿ™‚

NOTD: Cult Nails Manipulative & Dollish Polish Expecto Patronum

Happy Friday Loves!

Sorry I’ve been a little MIA lately and haven’t posted, but I’m back today and that’s what counts, right? Right.

Today I’ve got a mani I did with one of the beautiful colors from Cult Nails’ new Divas and Drama Collection. It’s called Manipulative and it’s creamy, shimmery goodness in a bottle.

Manipulative is a pale blue creme that leans a little towards mint green, and it’s full of that subtle shimmer that Cult Nails does so well.ย  The formula is absolutely fabulous, and I only needed 2 creamy coats to get it smooth and opaque.

On my ring finger I added an accent nail (cuz we all know that’s what I love to do) using the equally beautiful Expecto Patronum from Dollish Polish. It’s a beautiful milky white packed with green glitter in a couple of different shapes. I lovelovelove white polishes like this. It’s got that creme/jelly hybrid thing going on so I used 3 coats to get it to the opacity that I wanted. I think it compliments Manipulative very well. Check it out:

So what do you think of these two lovelies?

I really loved this mani…so much so that I wore it for 3 days, which is kind of a big deal for me since I usually change my polish daily.

You can buy Manipulative from Cult Nails’ website here for $10

You can find Expecto Patronum atย Dollish Polish’s shop here for $8.75 (though it’s currently sold out ๐Ÿ˜ฆ ).

Let me know what you think of this mani and have a fantastic Friday!

NOTD: Cult Nails Tied Up & Dollish Polish 3 Best Friends That Anyone Could Have

Hello my loves!

Phew! This post has a long title, right?! I’m not good at coming up with witty post titles, so I take the easy way out and just use the name of the polish ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anyway, today I have another NOTD that I didย using Cult Nails Tied Up and Dollish Polish 3 Best Friends That Anyone Could Have.

I’ve been on a Cult Nails kick this week because I realized that while I own every color they’ve made, I have not worn or swatched all of them, and that’s just a travesty.

Tied Up is a beautiful, dusty blue that has the creme/jelly formula that Cult Nails does so well. It’s a teeny bit sheer st one coat, but it turns to opaque awesomeness with the second. It’s soย pretty and squishy! Lovelovelove it!

The pics below show 2 creamy coats of Tied Up. I added 2 coats of Dollish Polish 3 Best Friends That Anyone Could Have (which btw earns major points simply for The Hangover reference) as an accent on my ring finger – I’ll have a full review of it later. Peep the pics:

Yay for beautiful blues and a little bit of bling!

Tied Up is unfortunately not available at this time as I believe there were only a limited number of bottles of it produced, and I don’t know that they have plans to make more. But you can still hop on over to Cult Nails’ website and check out their other amazing polishes. Like I said, I own every single one and have yet to be disappointed ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyway, let me know what you think of today’s mani and have a happy hump day!
